Clip of the Day: Don't Forget About Jordy!

Lost in all the hoopla of the newest generation of Young Guns (i.e. Gabriel, Freestone, Kolohe, John John, etc) is a guy who's still pretty young (he's going to be 24 on Saturday). That kid is Jordy Smith. As I mentioned in a previous story, the surf world latches on to the next big thing quicker than piranhas to a cow. It seems just like yesterday we were talking about Bruce or Adriano or Taj. Heck- Owen seems like yesterday's news already and Dane's even retired from the tour! But Jordy can still throw down with the best of them whether it's 2' D-bah or 10' Sunset. Just check out Jordy in the clip above from a few sessions at home the past few weeks. He's looking fit, hungry, and ready for the Quik Pro on the Gold Coast just 2 short weeks away. Keep your eye on Jordy this year as the cream will rise to the top.
