North County Business News: End of the Recession part 2?

A couple years ago, the North County Surf blog had a story about all the new home construction firing up around Encnitas and how it might have been a sign the recession was coming to an end. Well, the construction boom is still in full swing with 3 new developments popping up around town:
The 4th new development I discovered last week is one from Lennar Homes off Urania and Normandy in Leucadia- just down the street from Brookfield Home's 'Seaside Ridge' development.
I originally thought this empty lot had a sign years ago that stated a church was going to be built on the site. Maybe I'm wrong or maybe they couldn't get raise enough money to build- but Lennar Homes has their hands out it now.

Lennar hasn't posted anything on their website yet, but from what I gather from the signs on the property, the land looks to be almost 8 acres and the multi-colored map shown above has 28 or so subdivisions which are probably the home sites. If that's the case, the homes will probably be on 10,000+ square foot lots. Considering the new Seaside Ridge homes down the street are going for the low millions, these will probably be in the same neighborhood (literally). No idea on when the models will be open or when the 1st home will be move in ready, but check back on the North County Surf blog for the latest updates.
