Low tide Seaside on the boil surfing his 5'6" 'step up'? Check. Summer time shore pound at Tamarack on a hand shaped handplane? Check. Mushy Beacons on a retro 80's Bruce Jones? Check. There are no restrictions when you grow up in the 21st century of what you can and can't surf. If it catches waves (including bodysurfing) then it's game on. For Ryan, it's all about fun. Ryan as you guessed is my son and he gets up earlier than I do now to surf. And gets home later too. It's almost impossible to drag him out of the surf. And that's the way it should be.
