Latest forecast models are hinting at high pressure breaking down this weekend and rain returning to southern California next week. Looks like the marine layer returns on Monday, clouds thicken Tuesday with increasing winds, then showers and maybe heavier rain on Wednesday. Long range charts show potentially more rain next weekend. And you know what that means- snow in the local mountains as well as the big boys Tahoe and Mammoth.
