Deal Alert! Wetsuit Deals In the Middle of Winter!
It's not exactly winter yet but it sure feels like it around here. And with another storm headed our way this weekend (more on that tomorrow with the Surf Check (TM)), you'd better stock up on some rubber. I've come across two different wetsuit deals this week and I'm here to share them with you ('cause that's the kind of guy I am). Normally you see wetsuit sales at the end of summer because no one wants a 4/3 for 70 degree water. But there must be a little excess stock at Hyperflex and Xcel this month because there are big deals to be had. First up is Hyperflex Wetsuits. Seshday is unlocking the vault again and there's some rock bottom deals. Like a quality 4/3 for just $69.99. I didn't say $369 or even $169- but rather $69. Less than a dinner at Chart House with a girl you're probably going to dump anyway. Or go for the top of the line 4/3 and spend just $135. Heck- at these prices they're almost disposable! After a solid session, just toss it! Just kidding of course, but you won't feel as bad when you leave it in the parking lot at Trestles by accident and don't realize it's gone until you get home.
Anyway, I'm getting off track here. Seshday is also offering 3/2's, 5/4/3's, women's rashguards for $13, and jackets for $33. Get something for the whole family while you're at it.
Or maybe you want Hawaii type warmth from your wetsuit. Then head over to Department of Goods and check out Hawaii's own Xcel Wetsuits. They've got a 4/3 with a hood that was originally $450 for now just $247. Or keep it simple and get a 3/2 for just $80. No matter if you're Hyperflex bro or a Xcel bruddah, everyone wins. As advertised above, storms are taking aim at California this week (so much for that La Nina) so get a new suit now!
